I was brought in on the tail-end of the development cycle for this project. I helped to execute the already designed look and feel. I was mainly in charge of designing the backend database to hold information about employees and current job openings. The site features a very small content management system allowing website users to have control of a very limited number of pages. The most interesting feature is the employee e-mail directory.
As a solution to the security risk of openly publishing e-mail addresses online, I designed a small contact form that doesn't allow website visitors to see e-mail addresses directly. The website visitors must first choose a category in which the person they want to contact belongs to. They can then choose a specific person to send an email to, by only revealing the name of the employee. The employee categories and e-mail addresses are all managed by a custom designed web interface under the client's control.
